The Executive Partnership Limited is the data controller for all personal data collected through www.theexecutivepartnership.com.
What we collect
When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, company name, and whatever information you include in your message.
When you visit the site, we collect anonymised usage data through Google Analytics 4. This tells us things like which pages you view and how long you spend on them. We cannot use this data to identify you.
We also use cookies – small files stored on your device that help the site work and help us improve it. Full details are in the Cookie Policy.
Why we collect it
We collect this information so we can respond to your enquiry and work out whether we can actually help you. We use analytics data to improve the website. If we want to send you anything beyond a direct response to your message, we will only do so where you have given us consent or where we are permitted to do so under legitimate interest. You can opt out at any time – just let us know at privacy@theexecutivepartnership.com.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on three legal bases. We rely on consent when you submit a contact form or accept cookies. We rely on legitimate interest when we respond to enquiries and improve the site. Finally, we rely on a contract when you engage us for our services.
International data transfers
Google Analytics may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure the appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses approved under UK GDPR.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for two years. Analytics data is retained for 26 months, which is the Google Analytics default. If you become a client, we keep relevant data for seven years to meet UK accounting requirements.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have a number of rights over your personal data. You can access it, correct anything that is inaccurate, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, ask us to restrict our use of it, or request a portable copy. You can also withdraw any consent you have given us at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@theexecutivepartnership.com. We will respond within one month.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it where necessary – with service providers such as our hosting and email providers, who are bound by written contracts. We may also share it with professional advisors (accountants and lawyers) who are under confidentiality obligations, or with law enforcement and regulators where we are legally required to do so.
Security
We take data security seriously and protect your information with appropriate technical and organisational measures. That said, no transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee it.
Data breaches
If we become aware of a personal data breach that poses a risk to you, we will notify you and the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours, as required by UK GDPR.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your data, please contact us first at privacy@theexecutivepartnership.com.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain directly to the Information Commissioner's Office. You can reach them at ico.org.uk, by phone on +44 303 123 1113, or by post at Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, United Kingdom.
This site uses cookies. Under UK law — specifically the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations — we need your consent before we place any non-essential cookies on your device.
Some cookies are essential for the site to function. They handle things like session management, security, and load balancing. These are exempt from consent under UK law and cannot be turned off. They last for the duration of your session only.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site. This data is completely anonymised — we cannot use it to identify individuals. The cookies involved are _ga and _ga_*, which last for two years, and _gat_gtag, which expires after one minute.
Marketing cookies
With your consent, we also use marketing cookies to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. The LinkedIn Insight Tag uses cookies called li_fat_id (which lasts 30 days), lidc (which lasts one day), and bcookie (which lasts two years). Google Ads uses _gcl_au and _gac_gb, both of which last three months.
How to manage your cookies
You can control which cookies we place on your device. When you first visit the site, a cookie banner will give you the choice. You can also change your preferences at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer, or through your browser settings.
If you prefer, you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by visiting tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Please be aware that blocking cookies may affect how the site works.
Third-party cookies
Google set some cookies on our site independently of us. We do not control what those cookies do. If you want to understand them in detail, you can review Google’s privacy policy directly.
